My name is Catherine.

I am an artist. I live in the near suburbs of Washington, D.C., where I was born and raised. I raised my children here, too. Three years ago, I started working as a caregiver for older adults, and I love it.

As I started thinking more about the variety of caregiving needs in our community, I had the idea to offer art activities to people whose primary caregivers must, in addition to managing the activities of daily living, provide education or opportunities for creativity.

In that spirit, YEFA is for anyone, of any age, who is being cared for at home, and for whom an art activity could bring happiness.
